I should not have to pay for channels that have advertising revenue PERIOD. I should not HAVE to pay for crap channels I don't want i.e. ESPN, MTV etc. I should have to and would pay for channels I watch to watch free of adverts + the cost of delivery be that infrastructure maintenance, repairs, equip in my house etc. |

|  Anyone else remember when 'PAY' cable came along it was ad free-- but that's another story. The last time around here they did an 'a la carte' or a particle one my end price went up because the cable co. had enough brains to put all the most watched stations on the 'a la carte' list. The shopping ,religion, music (kids don't pay bills) were all part of basic- so I could see the cable co. saying don't throw me in that brier patch. |
