| Just had to share the good news
I ordered a refurb iMac 20" 2Ghz, 512MB ram, 250 GB HD & 128MB Video card. Got the whole sheebang for $$1399. However, when I fired it up I noticed I had a 500GB HD, 256 MB video card & 2 GB Ram. I nearly fell out. I guess it was my lucky day when they pulled this one to fill my order. |

Did you order from Apple directly? There have been a lot of reports that people have gotten nice surprises from Apple. |

| I will graciously take the insults. I ordered from the Apple refurb store. Although, this kind of makes up for the fits I have with my powerbook. I have had it for a year and a half and everytime I need to update it I am terrified. It blows chunks everytime. All the hardware check outs, but I really don't know what gives. It is currently booting only to a gray apple screen with the spinning gear. This is after the last security patch. I will tackle it later this week.
If you have any suggestions on fixing it without blowing it away I will entertain them. |

There have been many people that get surprise upgrades from Apple's Refurb store, but this is certainly the best I've heard. 500GB drive, wow.
2GB Ram, add $300 500GB Hard Drive, add $300 256MB VRAM option, add $75
