| reply to NOCMan An upgrade or price drop to the iMacs would be nice taking in account the recent addition of the MacBook and the recent update of the MacBook Pro models.
As for the Intel towers, I'd like to see dual Conroe chips on the high-end one and maybe a single Conroe chip on the "low end" one Would be nice to see the iMac updated with the Core Duo 2 or the Conroe. I'm thinking we'll see the Conroe processor in the towers, and the Core Duo 2 (Merom) in the iMacs. Just a random guess with no inside information. |

| reply to NOCMan I'm really curious to see what Apple will offer, in terms of replacing the Powermac G5. I hope it's something crazy-fast. I think it would be seriously crazy for Apple to stuff four (4) intel core duo CPUs in there, along with some radical new ATi or nVidia GPU that has enough horsepower to drive 4 30" Apple Displays, or maybe even 2 42" displays.
Yes, I know the above is nothing but pure dreams, but wouldn't it be cool. To see Apple release a computer that absolutely blows away anything that Dell or HP could come up with would just make my day. Combine that with the world's best OS and man you've got yourself one hell of a machine.
Ok, back to reality. What do you think Apple will offer, realistically? -- He must have been an admiral a sultan or a king, and to his praises we shall always sing. Look what he has done for us he's filled us up with cheer! Lord bless Charlie Mops, the man who invented beer. |
