Well seeing as how the Conroe and merom processors aren't due till summer, it only makes sense that they would wait till WWDC. I cant remember which one is the desktop version

Belchertown, MA | Conroe is targeted at desktops and merom at laptops/portables/small form factor PC's.
WWDC certainly makes sense as the announcement and perhaps even quick availability of one or two models.
