Re: wpnt834 with intel 3945 wireless card problems I went with the Dell 1490 a/b/g adapter and have no problems with my Netgear HE 102 802.11a access points. Is there anyway you can try the laptop on a friends wireless or at a local hotspot? It's possible you got a bum 3945 or maybe the antenna wires popped off the card. |

 | In the Release Notes for the latest firmware (1.0.41), they specifically mention an issue with the Intel Centrino 3945ABG client....
"The Intel Centrino 3945ABG client sends out QoS null frames that will cause a reboot. Workaround: Disable the 11e QoS in Intel Centrino 3945ABG Configuration > Advanced Properties."
You can see all of the notes here:

Hopefully, that helps!

 | reply to ImpetusEra Hi after long hours on the phone with india tech support they finally decided to sent out a 1490 replacement card because the 3945 has problems with a lot of routers...What is the difference between the 1490 and the dell 1390 and are they as good as the intel wireless cards such as the 2915 or 3945 ? |
