Every so often though they call I will leave it on the line for like a minute maybe I can get cingular to track it or something.
Theyve called about 2 dozen times so far in the past 3 minutes. Normal prank calls I dont really worry about. But this person or persons is a bit odd. Using a voice modulator and threatening all kinds of things and non stop calling. -- Gab VoIP Coming Soon |

1 edit | reply to HomeLvr First off, if they're making threats to your life you need to go to your local police IMMEDIATELY and file a police report. It doesn't matter whether the threats are serious or not, doing something like that is against the law. If you don't know who's doing this and/or whether or not they're being serious, you definitely need to treat this as if the person is being serious. This person could be planning on killing or harming you.
Second, you need to contact Cingular customer care and let them know this is going on. Also let them know that you've filed a police report with your local police department. You can reach customer care by calling 611 from your mobile phone, or 1-800-331-0500 from a landline.
Third, you need to be keeping notes of the dates and approximate times this person is calling. Also note what the person is saying to you, if they're just hanging up on you, etc. and what number is coming up on caller ID (if any). Also, anything else you can notice about the call...like whether the person appears to be male or female, any noticable background noises, etc. The more information you can provide to the police and Cingular, the easier it will be for them to track this person down. |
