Before you get too excited you might want to watch your back for the side effects and unintended consequences that accompany pretty much all preemptive legislation.

I hope I'm wrong, but legislation that accurately targets an issue and is written well enough to not be able to be bent to someone's will is hard to come by...especially when it's written to address an issue that currently only exists in the minds and pr statements of a group of executives.

I wonder how this is going to effect EULA's.

I can see this being stretched to download caps and limits, and ftp servers, etc.

10 5) to fail to clearly and conspicuously disclose
11 to users, in plain language, accurate information
12 concerning any terms, conditions, or limitations on
13 the broadband network service.

No more hiding behind the term 'Unlimited'
