| Remote Control PC 2 PC Over The Net
I'm in Cali & my mother in law is in NC she just got a new system & wants me to help her set it up for her over the net. Can anyone suggest free or pay software that I can use to connect to her pc & help her? She has a cable connection & is 60 years old & has NO CLUE about computers so it needs to be easy for me to help her set up over the phone.
BTW: There is NO ROUTER
I have PC Anywhere 10.5 would that work? Most of these programs seem to be port specific & if you have no router thats a problem. |

1 edit | reply to Techie714 How about LogMeIn? I'm using it to remote into my XP Pro box with my laptop and it works great. There's a free version and a Pro (pay) version, and you get a free trial of the Pro version. I don't think having a router or not having one matters one way or another.
