Hola amigo

My spanish talking is good but writing no.lol.Just need a bit of information on jazztell. Ive just moved address in torrevieja, 2 house from where i did live. Telefonica have saids i could wait up to 3 months for a line and broadband due to waiting for permission from the town hall, why i dont know. Could i sign up for jazztel and just forget about telelfonica or do i need the line form them, or can i sign over to jazztel for telephone and broadband. Im currently wired into my friends router next door..

Hi stu,

I think you will find that only Telefónica can give you a line and provide you with a number as they own the local loop between the customer's premises and the telephone exchange. Once you have a line from them, then you can apply to Jazztel for ADSL and/or telephone. So it doesn't look too hopeful. Perhaps they need permission to dig up the streets, put up poles, or maybe build a new telephone exchange.
Meanwhile you could just keep on sharing your connection!

No i have the box on the wall and the cables are there, as i have had the panel of the wall to check and the exchange is 30 second walk from me.. But i will still need a number, mmmmm ok i will wait...

cheers
