How will these boards act in an environment with some other 900 mhz systems? Will these systems only associate with themselves? How do they handle the noise that will exist from say a Canopy system. I am in need of a 900 mhz radio in my repoitoire. This could be the lower cost solution that we have been looking for. What is the pricing that we are looking at when these things hit the market? |

Rich, I am curious to know if you guys designed this PCB from scratch?
Since Osbridge firmware is already proven to drive Atheros MAC on this board, there is minimal risk of serious firmware gotchas with SR9. |

There should be no problem with this radio working within the same spectrum if Ubiquiti did their job. That is more of a radio function then a PCB function. The weather will be nice when this releases so we will have time to do field testing and not be limited to just lab results and calculations.
We will also be handing out free units as we did with the 5G to chosen evaluators in different demographics and climates to accelerate the testing process.

Yes, the PCB is proprietary. As you can see, no reset button, no LED's etc. The radio can be hard reset using OSReset, even if you don't know the IP and loose the user name.
I agree, there will be few if any firmware gotchas.

Looking forward to seeing some results or a unit in my hands. I have a "challenging" backhaul through foliage and in RF-hot environment that I would dearly love to upgrade. |

luftul was not quite correct in his explanation of OSReset.
1. You do not need to know the User name
2. You do not need to know the IP
3. You do need to know the radios password!
One thing I have noticed that Rawgers may be experiencing is it defaults to a 1000mS search. I have had no problems with OSReset after setting the search to 3000mS (3 seconds)

I would like to add for the firmware. It would be nice if OSb could somehow include in their scripting, an automatic page refresh for signal strength. So you can adjust an antenna without having to hold the laptop too. Even if it was it's own page for that purpose. |

This is closer then you think 
I have tested the beta version of this and the final release is to be ready in 2-3 days according to an e-mail received from Leszek just 1 hour ago. They had the 5GXi version done and were working on the 2400 series version. I will assume my final release will also have the 900MHz aiming utility attached.
Of all the firmware upgrades I have asked for, this has been one of the most important to me also.

| They do support SNMP, I use it daily to see stats for my customers and backhauls. I just wished that it had a built in site survey in some kind of real time, without having to reload the page every time.
Hurry for the little guy, my wish may have just come true. I personaly don't think "I" could ask for more. At least not at the moment  |

I would like to see some sort of analyzer if possible. At least to see what noise on 900 is available. Not sure if that is possible. Of course ap/CPE modes.
