[Thunderbird] Problem with RSS feeds

I've tried several different RSS feeds, including one that is know to work with Thunderbird on other computers.. None of them will show me the post content, I just get the topic name. Quite useless to me.

How can I get Thunderbird to actually display the content of these posts?

I've tried RSS feeds from »isc.sans.org , »www.sirlin.net , and others.
