I wrote that more than a year ago, and it was popular then, but I guess it's had a bit of renewed interest. That's been my most popular article for a long time, followed by the consultant one (it's #2 when you google for "Consultant").

I remember reading his good article about SQL Injection back when he wrote it. What caught my eye this visit was the wonderful graphic. The text is nice, but the graphic really makes the page interesting!

I particularly enjoyed the part about the amount you charge being in direct relationship with your workload.
I have that same problem. If I release a popular piece of software, I can get bogged down in support and sales questions seriously stepping on my development time. I end up charging more so as to get less customers for the same (or sometimes more) money.
