[Viatalk] Voicemail and Recieving Faxes

Does anyone know how to make incoming faxes work when you have voicemail on the line, short of turning it off, and going back to the old answering machine?

Your ATA must have a port specifically for faxes. Also, your provider must support fax transmissions. Vonage supports faxes, but few others do.

I have no port for Faxes all i could do is get their fax line and pay $9.95 a month for that, really dont want to have to do that. I wish they had distinctive ring, because then i could just set my fax to notice the pattern.

Is there any other way, that i can set this up, short of getting an answering machine or using the dedicated fax line solution?
