Corporate America

It's not all bad that neither common sense or decency is lacking in both the music industry and film /Sarcasm off

Why?

Because I got a small wish Believe-It-Or-Not (Now Ripley's will start suing ) my kids are all teenagers, four in fact and what do they do now the pilgrim profiteers of music and film have sliced and diced their fun........

They encourage each other and their friends to play live, of course they are off the street (Another bonus) and have a lot more fun earning a few bucks to produce a record themselves ~For their friends. They also look for Bands on the net that are starting out that they like and I'm sure that's a two way street omitting the RIAA from the scene entirely. If that's not enough ---RIAA take note and without any encouragement they don't buy music, period anymore [The group of friends, I'm so proud...Lol]. Why? Because now It's known, very well known that bought music generally equals a band getting their efforts screwed over and ham fisted approach to reality; they don't need the aggro ----They also learned that most downloaded music was poor quality and buying a CD meant putting up with BS songs.

They found a solution, which is a natural progression to oppression, eh!

I hated what the RIAA did to youngsters and the elderly with frivolous court actions, but the long term effect is very, very encouraging. I see committed musicians budding at an earlier age and understand they don't need to compromise themselves with the corporate failures of American Politics; rather refreshing. Did I say refreshing...Lol NOTHING really happened in 2000+ like previous generations and this I think might well be it ~A protest worthy of the older years

Dare say the $ bin for those that continue the onslaught will pay dearly in the end, deadbeats like the RIAA & MPAA will be out of profit and those willing to give them a chance will bottom out. Without musicians what has the RIAA have left? The day will most decidedly come and I for one am watching it happen, right now!

The net, will eventually replace those dinosaurs of hard copied CD's with a pretty picture. When LP's left the scene, ha, well it's simply not the same; replacing low quality downloads for live ~Does not get better than Live.

Sometimes there is a silver lining to a dictatorship

It's better to encourage a coOl alternative instead of lying down and groaning...
