Re: parent lost: Received deauthenticate (2) not valid

3 degrees is the best you are going to do.

A 27 dBi antenna is about 2 degrees.

3 degrees is +/- 1.5 degrees. One degree is about 17 meters at one thousand meters. That is close enough.

CLose in to 500 meters and you might be able to tell which room it is from...

Yes it is intentional. I just Want to be 110% sure before I pay the a visit. That's why id like a laser like antenna.

If someone is doing this intentionally for two weeks straight, they will be easy to find with any directional antenna if you gradually close-in on him.

But you should really confirm first using a 802.11 packet analyzer.

Been receiving deauthenticate's for to weeks now. doesn't stop the network but does hinder he throughput as deauth is received once every second. I'd really like to find who's doing this. Whats the tightest beam 2.4ghz antenna I can get?
My plan is to find this Ahole and goto there house with the cops but I need to be sure that I hit the right house. the tightest beam antenna I have is 3 degree grid and not very accurate at 820ft.
Ps. It's not hardware fail changed ssid, radio (twice) and cables.
