| Re: Maxis and Celcom HSDPA Launch? was at berjaya times square and gave celcom 3gx a try. they're demoing using laptops and vodafone pc cards.
overall impression was not good. ran a couple of speed tests to overseas sites and speed was approx 280kbps down and 80kbps up. frankly, that seems to be what i'd expect from regular 3g service, not HSDPA.
promoter said that launch is only in september. they don't have any pricing or packages yet. i reckon this is a half-baked launch just so that celcom can say that they launched HSDPA before Maxis |
