Just a quick update. Very sad, in less than 24 hours, around 12:02pm today, I received an anonymous "cursing" call, with all kinds of dirty words. So, I lodged a police report just now, worrying on my family safety. The inspector in-charged call up and confirmed that the phone owner is from a company in Belissa Row, Pulau Tikus, providing broadband service. I believe the inspector has given enough warning to him not to disturb me. At the same time, the inspector also mentioned that the guy wants to lodge another police report against me. I am interested to know what have i done wrong? Complaining too much? Is that a crime?
You guys feel that this company is very professional? I know the operation people all station in Mayang Mall office. They told me before that only high position managers are sitting in Belissa Row office. I can guess who that guy is, so can you all.
Before that, i would like express this loudly. All the while, when i talked and discussed anything with the operational people in PenangFON, they are all very polite and patiently listen to my problems, except this "CEO". So, don't take my words that PenangFON as a whole is bad, but this so-called "CEO".
*sign*.....malaysian way®.... Luckily the inspector is very helpful. He asked me to call him back if anything happen to me....

But I just wodering whether other subscribers at your apartment are makig this complaint as well.
I read the long email in the yahoo. Noticed that you have CC to all relevant parties and the YB also. I don't think this guy will react to this matter as he is lookikng to his urgent stuff only (no time for small issue) !!
The CEO should have solve this matter professionaly. |

yes, we do have a lot complaint to the company on the slow broadband service. But due to the job needs, a lot of us could not drop the package. I was the one "kek khi(hokkien" or "challanged" by them and i could not take it, thus i terminate. Now, whenever i got call, i either dialup, or if it is too slow to support, i have to rush back to the factory i work for (yes, i am 24x7 oncall).
CEO?? What is the new defination? |

| PenangFON use to have problem but since 3 months ago, their speed is better then streamyx and I have no problem using it.
It seem, that this guy shawkee must be pissing people off only people would make police report against him and scold him. It takes 2 to make noise.
My experience of using PenangFON is good, if you do not believe me, ask any existing user, not nonsensce user like shawkee. He did a survey on my condo, Alpine Tower but majority of the users do not agree with him. So now he pissed off making a fool out of himself. |

| He is the trouble maker in my condo and that why I highlight what he has done. If I send you any test, you can always say that it was fabricated. Most of the Condo they service like my condo, managements are given a line. If you do not believe, you can take your notebook as test it out there.
I am not associated to PenangFON but I am a PenangFON user.
What I am requesting all other user is to test it themself, after all the test is free and within their own condo. |

As i said, the decision is up to you all, i am just sharing my experience. And again, like i mentioned above, i am not saying their product is bad until cannot be used, i am just not satisfy with their customer service attitude. My main objective is constructively "force" them to improve, 'cos it carries the word "Penang"!! |

At the same time, i am not interested at all who you are, but just wonder if PenangFON is the best for you, why didn't you express that in the forum we have for our condo? Why only now? And as the forum is private, not all people can visit it. I can quote few of the statements i have put into the forum when i shared my experience. They read as below:
"If you feel that PenangFON is good for you, you should continue with PenangFON."
"So, if you think you are happy user like XXXX is, please ignore me and continue. It does not make sense to switch also."
Am i trying to forcing people out? I am just sharing my experience. Is that wrong? |

| well, in our condo private forums somebody has already told you that we are not interested to switch and we are happy with PenangFON when you are asking. Since he (you know who) already said so, I do not want to repeat.
Come to think of the things that you have done eg. promoting other ISP in our condo, I am now suspecting that you are working with another provider as the person going around smearing PenangFON service and trying to get other ISP for your own profit. |

| Lawyers do things for money, err, I mean, for a fee. When they send out letters, they may not only charge their clients for the postage but even 'time and material'. Ofcourse they're only too happy to help out their clients.
And I've heard this RIAA sending lawyer's letter to grannies who dont even own a PC for sharing music over the Internet...
shawkee , had it been me, if I had as much info abt my police report as you, I'll aggressively persue my police report to it's utmost completion, vis-a-vis this lawyer's letter (altho I know not what yr letter entails).
Bix: we try to help speak up for the little guys... and we always encourage everyone to make informed decisions. And personal attacks in this forum, I no like.

| XEQtor, why not you contact PenangFON and help your good friend Shawkee mediate his problem with them. Shoot out in this forum is not creditable. There are proper channel to discuss like CFM, »www.cfm.org.my/..When there is a dispute, if all information come from one side is always bias. These false information pass on in this manner is what I NO Like.
TMnut is Monopoly in Malaysia, when there are new small providers coming all out to service us; some conspiracy to shut them down is the worst of all especially ShawKee trying very hard to push Streamyx into our Condo to replace PenangFON. Do you know what he has done? Try contact any of the Alpine Tower’s resident, they will tell you the real story if you do not trust me. Talk to them and you will find out the truth.
I agreed with you to protect little guy but if the little guy is backed by TMnut, do you think this little guy is a real little guy. That is why there is a lawyer involvement.
Our condo was service by other ISP before PenangFON, the previous ISP give up and PenangFON was invited to service our Condo. I agreed when at first there are some teething problems and it has been very good since 3-4 months ago. They can potentially break TMNut monopoly. I believe TMnut finding this is a real threat, hence using Shawkee to kill competitor in bad mouthing them is which what I cannot stand.
TMnut cannot provide us the service because we are using Time Telecom via HICOM.
So TMnut asking Shawkee to get support and kill PenangFON so that they can be Monopolized again. In fact, there is one resident telling Shawkee that it should be optional where we can still Enjoy PenangFON while if he wants TMnut to come in.
Ask any Alpine Resident if Shawkee did send email asking everybody to switch to TMNut and also telling people the real reason he reapply PenangFON is to give them problem? In fact most people like Me Ignore his email. That why he complains I did not respond to his email in our private forums because we do not support him.
This is in fact, Shawkee(TMnut) Vs PenangFON.

What is it with all these personal attacks pmpymn? Perhaps you're a PenangFON staff that is trying discredit anybody from telling about their bad experience with PenangFON. I admit I do not know anything about PenangFON. As jambalaya013 & XEQtor says, please provide data to support your claim.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion that is what a public forum is about, there is no need to get personal at anyone.

| well...somebody attack me first and like yourself accusing me of being PenangFon staff , so like I said, test out and do not take any word from anybody because this information here is not creditable. I must admit that I personal problem with my neighbor,Shawkee because he has his own agenda and I do not like to see this happen in my Condo!
