| NFL Network Moving
Today, Sunday 6/25, I saw on the channel info for NFL Network that the channel is moving from the Sports Package to the "FIOS TV Premier" lineup on August, 1st.
I just wanted to see what that means. Which is the "TV Premier" package? I checked the channel lineup online and I can't see which package the premier package is.
Thanks, -- Ricardo

Thanks, FIOS Premier is their core package (consists of everything that is neither a pay channel or in another tier). It's $39.95 monthly. By moving it out of their Sports tier and into the core tier, they are giving you one more channel for your money. |

For those of you with cable, Premier is directly equivalent to basic+standard+digital cable. |

It's in the 120 package on Dish Network, so it probably should not have been in the sports package, but with other sports channels in the Premier package. |

1 edit | reply to ramell From articles I have read in BusinessWeek, etc, NFL was pushing to have NFL network in any basic package for all operators that carried the channel. I am sure there was a clause in the carriage agreement with VZ that stated if the NFL Network was to carry NFL games, the channel would be moved to the basic cable tv package. As stated previously, Dish Network has it (NFL HD) on the basic package (Bronze HD) and I am sure others if they haven't already will move the channel, if they currently carry it. |
