Hmmm... You shouldn't be seeing Hybrid 2 with that. Is your sync stable? Were those sync drops intentional?
Maybe your POTS splitter is dying and causing the modem to see the POTS-side wiring as a bridge tap and report Hybrid 2. |

Oakdale, CA | No the sync drops were not intentional. The POTS is in direct sunlight all day and now that I think about it, my sync problems started soon after the weather turned hot. If I can find my spare splitter, I will give it a try. Thanks for the help. |

You were right it was a "dying" splitter. I replaced the POTS splitter and now no more sync drops.  |
