New school bullying videos on Youtube, Malaysian students.
I've found this video clip posted on 23th of June 2006 at YouTube.com which shows a gang of girls beating up a girl while some boys stand watch with one filming the 6 minute plus footage on the cellphone. Base on the title of the video, these students are from St. Joseph's secondary school in Miri, Sarawak. From the video scene the location should be a popular seaside park in Miri called Tanjung Lobang which is a 10 minutes walk from St. Joseph secondary school.
In the video, the girls questioned the victim in mandarin if she told someone about them beating her previously. The victim remain silent while the girls began slapping, beating and pulling her hair. One of the girls even strike the victim with a belt somewhere in the middle of the clip.
With the Caught in the act article on the front page of yesterday's The Star which relates to a similar incident involving students from Kota Tinggi, Johor. With handphone usage getting prominent among shcool childrens, searching for the right words on the internet might find you some familiar faces in trouble.
Please give your view on the video and suggestion to tackle this social problem.
we had fights, gang fights, back in the old days but not the plain "I have more ppl" type of bullying like this -- Penang PC Price listing: WWW.PC1STOP.NET
reply to Kikachi No really, this is just.. speechless. Being a High School student, I must say that I have seen people get bullied in my time, sometime me being the bully, but nothing like this. Most of what I have seen is verbal, not physical. First of all, while watching the video, I asked myself why didn't she strike back, or try to run away. I mean, just start hitting people too. I guess this is one hell of a modest girl! -- Being Wise Is Not About Being Smart, Its About Making The Correct Choices That Will Affect One's Future.

Well, there's different ways to skin a cat. maybe she was caught stealing? i'm not supporting the action but heck back in those days, liars and thiefs are not the most popular kids in school
Cheers!!!

reply to Kikachi I watched the whole thing. It looks like either she was caught stealing or is being accused of stealing. Throughout the entire video, they keep asking her if she "has it!" She just keeps saying "No." It must of been something pretty expensive.
