 [BOINC] WCG

I've just noticed that BOINC is not requesting or receiving any new work for FightAids@home. I had no work in cache so I reset the project hoping that would kick start it, but still no work.

Anyone else experiencing this? I don't see any status notices on the WCG site.

You might have a "debt" issue. You know BOINC tries to do work according to your preferences. If your work is supposed to be split say 50-50 with SETI and the machine has been doing more than 50% FAAH, it might create a situation where it owes time to SETI.

Of course if that box is only attached and crunching FAAH then that wouldn't be the cause. I'm afraid I haven't been able to get to my remote box which was doing WCG to see if it has a problem. I looked at the WCG forum and didn't see any mention of no wu's available.

If you have multiple projects on that box and you really want to get more FAAH wu's you could temporarily suspend the other projects and it should download more FAAH wu's. But, doing that could also put you in an overcommitted state.
