| AllofMP3 won't be around much longer
The cheap songs from the supposedly legal site in Russia may not be around for much longer. Aside from any lawsuits, the US is pressuring Russian prosecutors to shut it down. If Russia wants in to the WTO, then they will have to shut down allofmp3. And Russian prosecutors are already proceeding to do just that. -- -- Join Red Room Forum BLOG tkjunkmail.blogspot.com My Web Page |

I am beginning to think that the guys who run this site are offering Putin far more lucrative incentives than WTO membership ever would. Given how quickly he got Khodorkovskiy (who was loaded) out of his way makes me think that if he wanted that site gone real bad, it would have been gone a long time ago. The fact that they are still around makes me wonder if he is in on it himself. -- Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies... | reply to TKJunkMail I doubt the US can keep Russia out over such a seemingly trivial manner. Real commodities always outweigh this ridiculous system of intellectual property trade. I find it laughable anyone even takes the RIAA seriously in the international sense. Really, are those pampered overpaid suits going to take the battle to the streets where the real pirates are? You know, the ones with the guns to protect their interests. I think not. |
