If it's free the manager should say when you can take a hike.
However at Starbucks, Borders or B&N, where I pay to use T-Mobile and others, every one of them could care less how long I hang around.

When using a B&N, I asked where all the power outlets were (only one was available) and the manager said pretty bluntly that they didn't want anymore because then all the laptop users wouldn't leave. As it is, most of them can only stay 2 hours as they run out of power. She said 2 hours is adequate time for anyone to finish what they need on the internet. |
