For some reason the .NET Framework Update will not install on my XP SP2 system. Can anyone tell me how to check the version of .net that is currently on my system. May be as simple as me still having v1 of .net.

*EDIT* Hmmm, found it in Add/Remove, wonder why the update will not install.

It's in A/R Programs. I have .NET v. 2.0. Now that you mention it, I got no update for that either. Wasn't listed for me.
Hmmm.

Thanks, beenieman!

*Edit- Aha! I'm on XP SP2. Update does not apply to me. Guess that explains it. Thank you too, parputt!

That is the strange thing I am on SP2 also and the update shows, but will not install. Same problem the person on the MS newsgroups is reporting. Something strange going on here.
