[FireFox] DSLR notifier is acting weird

The past couple of days, the DSLR notifier has indicated that a thread I was following was updated, but when I clicked on the dialog box, no thread had been updated.

I cleared cache less than an hour ago (not because of this problem, just routine maintenance).

Unless I missed a thread, I have the current version of the DSLR notifier extension.

Any ideas on this problem?

thanks

You might try checking your followed threads history and see if there is a thread there that hasn't cleared. Otherwise there are times the count gets screwed up for some reason. What I've done in the past when I've had this problem is set the Topic alert offset to 1 or however many the count is off by.

Does anybody know how to turn off the annoying yellow flashing Firefox taskbar entry when there is an alert?

All I want is the standard slider. Thanks.

I do have 1.1 and I have Topic Alert Offset set to "0."

If you can't find a thread in your followed history that has a reply, I'd go ahead and set it to "1" until the number clears on the site end. At least that's what I've done in the past. Been a long time since that has happened to me.

Thanks, Mary. Right now, it's acting as it should.
