what give it only occurs when i am on the phone and downloading at the same time not that im complaining i was just curious

also tried a large file from microsoft windows vista bet and was getting 3.06 tranfer rate

is this just power boosting or preview of something better to come

Most likely powerboost. I wouldn't trust the rating on that speed test, it seems like it may have had cached data or something as that speed is more then what Comcast's networks are currently configured for.Although the 3.06MB transfer rate is certainly possible with powerboost.
