Getting bumped off.

A user who can feel free to identify himself IM'd me a few days ago re. locked thread »Misleading new SBC/AT&T ads :
...Second, just because you want to editorially redefine that having spammers on their network is organized crime doesn't make it so. If it were classic organized crime, AT&T would have bumped you off by now.

Keep the organized crime comment in your review, and even in your posting signature. as that's more of a one man's opinion thing. But stop trying to use the forums to create a truth by repeating a fiction....
I'm not enough of a threat to be bumped off - no cost/benefit analysis would make bumping me off make sense. Groups of full-time professional spammers who engage in phishing and DDoS-enforced extortion via their spam are obviously organized crime by any sensible definition. I explicitly state above why I call SBC an Organized Crime Syndicate. It's based on verifiable fact, not fiction. The folks behind Spamhaus make a very similar claim - that's what led me to make the claim that I do. Sure, it's provocative, but it's also accurate.

The mod says that my characterizations of SBC make me look bad, so I should stop. I don't expect a reply; he later said he doesn't want to discuss whether those characterizations are accurate in public; but he did start a discussion about them in private. I don't understand that logic.

SBC is the world's second-largest SpamHaus and leads an Organized Crime Syndicate. Also see TURN.org or UCAN.
