[WA] New Resident

I wanted to say hello and introduce myself to the forum.

I just moved from Houston to Redmond this week and am loving it so far! I have been checking out this forum to see what kind of things there are to do around the Seattle area and wanted to just say thanks for the great information provided here!

 Wow, thank you for the warm (or should I say cool?) welcome!

My mother works for Microsoft and was relocated here. My sister and I felt bad that she would be in a new state all by herself (our entire extended family is back in Houston) so we decided to join her.

I have always wanted to move to a cooler climate hehe. After living here for 3 days with temperatures around 65-70, I don't know how I survived in Houston. Oh, wait. I cranked up the AC and never went outside!
