copy layers to a second psd

If I have a psd I have created, and have a second psd file I have created. Can I "copy" the layers and stuff from one into the other?

I am wanting to merge the two.

Drag and drop from one file to the other if you want to keep the layers seperate.

I think you need to use the shift key to select the desired layers, then drag them in there ...

Open both PSD's.

Right-click on layer you want copied, hit duplicate layer, and select the file you want it copied to in the destination. Just another way.

Also, I found this that has good suggestions including linking layers first:

Merge separate PSDs
