Re: Time Warner transition site. Couple of comments:
1) They state that billing and payment options will be the same as now, but don't mention payment online, which Adelphia currently offer and I use.
2) What happens to our webspace? Does it disappear, become rr.net, or what?
3) Would have been nice if there was a "Contact Us" link for questions such as the above....unless there is one and I'm just not seeing it.
Otherwise, nice to see this kind of effort being made. As has been said on here before, there aren't going to be wholesale channel lineup/internet speed changes overnight. After all, it's the same equipment/infrastructure owned by different people. | | markf4 join:1999-08-10 Fullerton, CA | hey mad mac I can answer you first question, I went to the RR web page and nosed around, they do have online bill payment. | | DannyZGentoo FanboyPremium join:2003-01-29 | reply to Mad Mac said by Mad Mac:1) They state that billing and payment options will be the same as now, but don't mention payment online, which Adelphia currently offer and I use. I don't know how this will be handled in the transition, but Time Warner uses PayXpress for online payments. I use it myself, and I love it. You can set it up to automatically deduct the bill from a checking account or credit/debit card, or you can manually pay it every month, which is what I do. -- Out the 10BaseT, through the router, down the co-ax, over the fiber, across the backhaul, past the edge router, off the network...nothing but net | |
