Well i`ll start not knowing if anyones interested.

Firstly create File/New 400x400.

Now we need to place rulers/guides - set these @ co-ords 50/120/200/280/300 - Do this horizontally and vertically (See Image1).

Now goto Rectangle Tool and change it to circle (by holding down mouse button).

When the circle is selected goto axis point 50/50 and drag to the opposite corner (300/300), this should give you a uniform circle in the center, as per the image below.

Now go back to the Rectangle Tool and change it to Rectangle, goto axis point 50 and drag through to 120, do this in each corner until you something similar to the image below.

Image2

Now go back to the Rectangle Tool and change it to circle, place any size circle anywhere on the page then goto the bottom and see Properties - change this to W=100 H=100 X=150 Y=150.

Image3

Now goto Select/Select All.

Now Goto Modify/Combine Paths/Punch - do this until you only have the original shape, minus a few cut-outs.

Now we need to alter the curves, along the top of the shape see the three bezier points, drag your mouse over these three, then drag the middle point over to the next right guide line, as per the image below.

Image5

Now you need to do this to the other three points in a clockwise fashion, ending up with something like the image below.

Image6

That is the basic shape, now you can do whatever you like with it, what i did was goto Commands/Creative/Twist and Fade/Apply then select each individual layer and alter the colour.

If i have missed any vital points out i`m sure you`ll let me know ...
