Regarding the aesthetic issues, it looks like this issue is dead center on the radar of Wisconsin municipalities. Additionally this 31 May 2006 newsletter has two other articles related to AT&T's efforts: »www.wiscities.org/newsletter.htm Also I thought this was for FTTH but apparently I haven't been reading things too carefully, because as you probably know this is for FTTN.
