What anntenna should i use from my point to the wisp's tower

shrokar join:2006-07-17 Brookport, IL	What anntenna should i use from my point to the wisp's tower I talked to a good wisp provider last week and he is suppose to come out tomarow to do a survey. Im 596 he is about 470..and there is a ride between us with trees..there's no los and its about a 6mile gap..what would be the best setup for me to use to try to hit him? what grade of antenna etc. Id need one that can tear threw foilage like a hot knife in butter.

dhaas join:2001-12-02 Alma, MI	reply to shrokar Even if they use 900mhz he is too far away... The wisp should have the proper antenna for you when they come to do the test. When we do a signal test we use our grids on a 20ft pole, usally standing on the cust's roof trying to hit a tower. but super dog is right, you will need to get ABOVE the trees and have los to go with 2.4ghz wisp...and a 900mhz system will never go 6 miles.
