Malaysians.. are we that rude?

Well according to readers digest we are!

Is the test biased towards our culture?

What was the test based on?

DPM Najib said the test is just wrong and not a true indication of Malaysians.

here's the result: »www.rd.com/content/openContent.d···eIndex=2

New york rank first.

Re: Malaysians.. are we that rude?

i doubt that the result is wrong ler. from my experiences of travelling roung SEA on either my holidays or work trips, malaysians aren't the most friendliest. not unless you're working for a travel agent and your a westerner larr

Cheers!!!

Re: Malaysians.. are we that rude?

Some complained about the number of criteria for the test which render the result inaccurate. However I would say, no matter 3 or 300 different tests, we are still rude, just take a drive on the road and walk around the shopping mall you will know.

From my point of view as a westerner living here for going on 4 years....

I agree to some degree but you also have to look at the culture.

KL people are too westernised so I see why :P

I have to say it comes from the mentallity & upbringing. When it comes to qeuing this culture is one of the worst. Customer service is right up there!!

I've also seen in USA where there's a huge sale & it's a stampede but you can't compare a SALE to everyday queing to get into the bank, waiting for a teller(you're holding a #) & watch someone just walk in & go straight to the teller!!!

You have the good/bad everywhere, it's all how you take things lah.
