I also have had a poor experience with tech support and the infamous "noise" problem. At this time my connection has been off and on for the last two weeks. Tech support seems to think I have a virus lol.....seems the rest of the cogeco users in my town (including our internet cafe) have the same one. If you want to speak with an english speaking tech you have to ask for a tier 2 tech..they seem to be the only ones willing to try and fix your problem...but in the end they will still tell you its your problem and 3 weeks for a tech to come to your house. I personally like cable but with these reoccuring probs, poor tech support and bad overall service i might have to go to DSL...and maybe the rest of my town will follow. |
