i'm up for renewal but i feel it's time to move on. I have read really good reviews of Sonic.net... plus I saw a promo link to join for 9.95/mo. Otherwise the price is 12.94/mo. for one year. |

| go to sonic.net and the top banner ad says 9.95 - but on the signup page it does not state it. i emailed sonic to verify what this was for!
thanks for reply on cancelling dsl with sbc. a cust rep told me (i confirmed many times to make sure) i would get money back for rebate but he was wrong: change of equipment didn't qualify. so 6 months later i finally found out why i didnt get money back. |

| Well, I took a look at Sonic.net today and called up ATT to give them one more chance to allow me to upgrade to elite without forcing me to add services to my phone line(that is never used) or I would just go with Sonic. After being transferred and being on hold for about a half hour.. I gave the nice lady on the other end the error code that I receive when trying to upgrade (237) and she gave me the elite deal for 27.99. I have to say that I'm really surprised...:) I also ordered the wireless gateway since I feel that my alcatel 1000 has seen better days.
I'm going to miss my static ip, but i think I'll survive.
oh, sonics 384-1.5mps is 12.94 a month, pro 1.5-3mb is 17.95 and elite 3-6mb/786k is 27.95. |
