With all the goings on in the world right now could we add "victims of war" to the humanitarian list?

For Children's Organizations I like the
Make-A-Wish Foundation:

On their website they have a shop where people can buy gifts as a way of making a donation. I wonder if they would be interested in selling the photobook on their site...?? Also, just curious...is there going to be a theme to the book based on the charity that's selected, or just a book of photos in different categories...more like a coffee table kind of photobook?

Since I'm just a "point & shoot" picture taker I'd contribute with a cash donation rather that a crappy photo!
lol

That's something everyone will have to consider once a charity has been selected. The next step obviously will be a list of the many individual organizations.

Also, I didn't put anything of a religious or political nature in the poll simply because we really don't want to go there, at least in my opinion.

Additionally, if anyone knows of an organization that hasn't been discussed, or maybe it's not in the U.S., then this would be the time to mention it. I don't want our members to think we're not considering other agencies simply because the organizations are not in the U.S.

If we want to impact children around the world, UNICEF would be my choice.

If war, relief and health are the priorities, I would go with Doctors Without Borders.

So it seems that something for the children has won, do we need to make another poll with childrens charity's and then that would be our charity and can move form there?
