Found it useful in spotting the EMBED to download a video or something

I also use Leechget. I have to say that these download managers are a god sent for those of us stuck on dial-up. It basically allows us to download any file that we want without fear of losing the download.

Same here when using Opera. When using IE or Firefox, I use Freedownloadmanager.

I use the browsers built in download manager. Almost all of my downloads are finished in seconds so why hassle with extra software.

I personally use StarDownloader. A popular misconception is that if you have broadband, you don't need these but the fact is that if the server you're downloading from supports multiple simultaneous connections, you can often double or even triple your download speeds, no matter how fast your connection is. Of course, this is assuming you're not getting maximum throughput with a single connection, which is rarely the case. In addition, almost all download managers support resume which is a godsend if you happen to lose your connection for whatever reason.
