There is something in the most recent update that has caused the problem but talking to Symantec was useless. I am pretty sure that going through an uninstall followed by reinstalling and then running Liveupdate and getting the most recent update will cause this to occur again. Wonder if anyone else is seeing this and has a solution. |

| You could always try system restore, though if it was the update, like you said -- the minute Live Update runs again, it'll be back. Of course you'll have a lot of company if you're right 
Maybe you could wait for the next intelligent update release (or try today's if you think it's worth a shot) and manually apply it to fully replace your existing definitions. |
