No better words have ever been spoken. This whole dilemma has me wondering WTF is going on. I feel just the same as I do in everyday life, having no say what so ever in what my 'elected' politico does.
IMHO, this is all bullshit. This forum is one of the few I try to read on a daily basis, and in the last few months, it's become nothing short of laughable.
I will not join any offsite team. I'm BBR do or die. It was this site, and it's members at the time, that got me to install seti, helix, discovery, on my machines. It was all for the cause, not the political bullshit now happening. I'm totally at a loss as to the reasoning that is going on now.. WTF is the DCS? There wasn't one when I got here almost 6yrs ago.., why is there one now? This whole forum has me feeling ignorant. I don't know which thread to post/yell/whine/cry/bitch in about all this. 4-6 months ago we were a team ready to overtake everyone and show our stompage! Now, we're a broken 'community' separated by nothing more than words on a monitor. I've read the linked threads all over, and I'm disappointed that as adults, we can't find a common ground and make it work. Without pointing fingers, you who have made this madness remind of the government that I can no longer in good conscience vote for, bad or good.
I now long for the days when I came in here seeing how our TEAM was doing, racking up the credits and moving to stomp our competitors in good fun. Read those words. GOOD FUN. Fun is out the door now. I'm beginning to wonder if I should even crunch for SETI now. It takes my extra rigs nothing to do it, except leaving them on.
Sorry if I'm rambling. I'm only a lurker here mostly. I just crunch, and joined the team without any invites. I wanted to contribute and have fun, and offer assistance in what meager way I can. All the bullshit lately has me feeling like I do when a vote comes up for my local asshole, who does nothing to help me.
Nothing personal here, I have ultimate respect for all members, but we need to put BULLSHIT aside and remember where we all came from.

I've read the posts on these subjects but am still confused as to what really went down.
As you said it was fun. I always came here to see what was going on.
It seems like you had to be on the inside to know the full story.
To those who left, I wish them well and thanks for the help when I needed it.
I haven't decided yet what I'm going to do.
Probably stay to see what happens for now.
If not my ship is waiting to take me away!
