I spoke to a second and third level tek in regards to this problem (even with a priorty number)it took 35 minutes to get thru and they are well aware of the problem.They assured me that the program is functioning properly and they will be fixing it soon.I sure hope thats the truth Oh well some paranoa is telling me to do their on line scan |

2 edits | we've been experiencing same problem and i was about to give up on symantec and nav for good. based on these reported developments, i'll wait one week for a resolution before uninstalling and buying something from someone else

| Good find btaylor1, what an odd solution. It'd be nice if Symantec had included a bit more info on the problem/workaround.
Judging by the number of replies this topic has gotten, this hasn't hit a lot of people (myself included, at least up til now). Was what preceded it an update released through a manual Live Update run, as opposed to the auto av def update I initially thought it to be? |
