| weapon unlock in BF2
i finally got my hands on BF2 recently and i'm really excited about the weapon upgrade system. my question is that at what level are you able to unlock the 1st, 2nd, 3rd... weapons? i'm almost Private First Class... god finding ranked server is so hard in my country!!
also, recommendation which weapon to unlock will be nice too! 
i'm thinking of either specops or sniper... |

If you have special forces expansion, one of the best guns to unlock is the medics G36E |

Medic or Spec ops are best unlocks in my opinion.

| The specops unlock in BF2 sucks. The zoom recoil is pretty high. The BF2 unlock, however, is very good. It is very accurate at range and does a decent amount of damage. The medic unlock for SF is amazing, which is why you see almost everyone who plays as a medic using that gun. |

okay i've unlocked my g36e. i now can unlock my second weapon... which should i choose? i'm thinking of l96a1 or scar-l, OR f2000.... which on of three should i choose!! |

1 edit | work your way up through the sniper unlocks as well. I love NOTHING more than sitting about 200 meters away outside an enemy hanger and sniping people out of jets / choppers as they hurry to get in em.
I would say look into the sniper unlocks afte the spec ops / medic. I got my gold in spec ops within like 1 month of playing Great guns, and really accurate!
The second sniper unlock is more accuurate, quieter, has a smaller muzzel flash (keeps you hidden better). The only downside is you can't snipe people out of bullet proof glass. 
I'm currently working on my hours for expert sniper (got about 6 hours to go or so). After this unlock I'll have all the guns which is nice I guess..... I'm more about the tactical kills and completely terroizing the enemy from a hidden location.

If you like sniping, I guess get the sniper unlocks - but if you want to be a worthwhile player on your team get the G36E, F2000, DAO12. |

i've picked up f2000 that was lying around, seems to be it less accurate than the g36e? i got too used to handling the 36e :P |
