Why do people need a home and cell? That's like asking why do peeps need a desktop and laptop computer.

It's not about need, it's about want.
How many teenagers out there have cell phones because they truly need them...

Not quite. I don't really WANT a landline, but because I have a child, it's not safe to not have one. I could deal without a Cell Phone if I lived in the city as well.. but since there's a possibility I could be broken down in the middle of nowhere, again it's a safety issue.

I don't own a laptop, mostly because I can't build them myself.
