Re: Boo to caps.

My ISP (MTS in Winnipeg, MB) gives me 5Mb and they have no cap, stated or otherwise. Some months I'm only pulling 8-10GB data, but some months I have gone close to 150GB with no notices, warnings, etc. And before you go off on piracy, I'll state that while some of that data might be file sharing, most of it is conferencing and number crunching related to my "work".

Industry leading? What industry? Because last time I looked, my DSL ISP has NO bandwidth cap. Zero. Sky's the limit.
Industry leading in the sense of cable providers. So, wherever Rogers is, they'll lead the industry since there would be no other cable provider.

And, yeah, our area isn't upgraded yet (DSL), but still is unlimited..i can download 466 GB a month, even with my slow connection, so industry leading my behind..

$100 Canadia isn't so bad, but again for that much they should have it highier than 100GB..... 200GB atelast for that kind of money.

Yea. Better they state it then come out of nowhere one day hammering people with extra fees per GB. Atleast they give a definite answer compared to comcast.

At least they are admitting they have caps. Much better than trying to hide them deep in some TOS with the legal babel and general BS.
