I obviously wouldn't give root access to someone until they proved they knew what they were doing. I also wondered about the network and datacenter, but I've had files on another server from them for several months with no problems. So that's good enough for me. The offer is still open. I don't why you think this will only "go terribly wrong". People have shared servers before.

This, at least to me, is comparable to standing out on the street and asking random guys if they'd like to go 50/50 on a car with you. You could split the cost of everything and save tons of money!
