After reading this thread I am not sure where you are getting your math at. The USB 1.1 supported max transfer (aka Full Speed USB) is 12Mbps.
The max transfer speed sprint thinks users will hit is only 3.1 Mbps...just over a quarter of the available bandwidth provided by a Full Speed USB device. There should be NO problem at all for USB 1.1 compliant devices to be able to handle EVDO-A implementations.
However, I think it will probably come as a USB 2.0 device just because that future-proofs it a little better. -- Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy |
