The Haslett and Okemos channels are still there - at least in Meridian Township, I don't know if they are still in other areas where they were before. The online channel lineup does not list those channels for the Meridian Township lineup. We don't have the East Lansing channel any more, just the East Lansing schools - which is currently off the air it seems. Unless Comcast lied to us and we really don't get it. Part of what PEG (Public, Education, Government) channels are available in each area, is what the local cable authority bargains with the cable companies. I really like Meridian's Government TV channel - they do great work with the election coverage and more - in fact I got to be on it last night as an election worker. I'm famous! (or not)
With the latest increases in prices and the drop of channels, I actually dropped down to the most basic level of service, since I hardly watched any of the other channels on the standard cable, so it was a waste of my money. When I called to drop service, they did offer me $5 off a month - definitely not enough to get me to keep my level of service. Then they charged me $12 to change, even if it's against FCC regulations. Once I get my bill, I'll call and argue that.
It seems everyday Comcast does something else to aggravate me.
