But I prefer Linux, because is open source and multi-user system and it has been considered as the best OS for Web servers. It is the most reliable, customizable, secured, stable and efficient system used for the Web. Also linux has better uptime then windows but the number of features are more in windows.

| Re: Choosing windows or Linux server While I too prefer unix/linux webservers over windows, I don't think windows is all that bad. I've been running WIN2k3 on two servers since last fall and havn't had any problems at all. Not one virus, crash, no stability problems. Windows is very much a multi user system. Simply bashing windows for a server when you know little about it is stupid. You may be confusing a home based windows OS with their server offerings.
