| core 2?
Hi, I see many machines advertised as "Intel Core 2" which I think is the Conroe processor (am I correct in assuming this?)
Which is better for gaming, AMD or the core 2?
I have always leaned twards AMD myself -- Keep your friends close. Keep your enemies closer. |

1 edit | I have a question.....what the hell good is a free gamefly trial for pc gaming? | reply to bobbagels Sorry I havent gotten back here sooner, I'm really busy at work and ya know how that is.
Anyways, It ran me $3,200.00
Free gamefly is a waste,i agree. I will lose it when I get the machine.
I thought it was a good deal considering I got the Samsung SyncMaster 204B 20.1" 5ms Flat Panel with it. I think that should be a nice monitor.
As far as the Ageia PhysX Processing Unit, I asked about that, I was told it works with all games, they offer a few games themselves but the salesman said its not limited to just those games.
I also asked here about the Core 2 VS AMD. Was told by most that it didnt make much difference.
Anyways, This machine should hold me for a year or 2 I hope. -- Keep your friends close. Keep your enemies closer. |

They used a single 7900 GT in that review. The gap is even wider when you have a 7950 GX2. |
