It might be particular to VSPs such as Voicepulse that use a letter in their username and the Vonage WRTP54G's peculiarity.
The RTP300 I spoke about is being used with an account that uses alphabetical characters. Though, it does not have any numeric characters. I'm not sure that that would be a problem.
